A Distance Learning Diploma Course of 5 Modules Anatomy and Physiology Course All therapists should aim to complete this course. Anatomy is the study of the form, structure and development of the body, it's arrangements and organs.
Physiology is the study of how cells, tissues, and organisms function, the “goings on” inside the living organism and the study of how and why the parts of the body work and relate to each other. By studying this course the Therapist will be looking to stimulate their clients' natural healing ability, through an extensive understanding of how the body and its systems integrate and function together. All the structures and compositions of the body are addressed in this comprehensive course. We also provide this course to students of other Schools and Institutions who do not have this subject in their curriculum.
Any potential student wishing to study this subject will enhance their knowledge as a Professional Therapist. Note: A text book is required to work alongside our course material in this subject. Details will be provided after enrolment. Select your currency. Nicola Armstrong County Down, Northern Ireland I wasn’t expecting to have loved this subject so much, but I found it completely engrossing!! So, now looking forward to completing my Aromatherapy foundation, and am working through my ‘case studies’. Anatomy and Physiology, is a fascinating course, and really helped me to put my Aromatherapy knowledge into context.
I already know that it will be a great ‘stepping stone’ to other areas of learning, and I don’t doubt that it will enhance my abilities, and credibility, as a professional therapist. I highly recommend your Anatomy and Physiology course.
All the very best to you, and the team. Yvonne Todd Isle of Wight, England Thank you so very much for the wonderful news, that I have achieved a grade A pass for my Anatomy and Physiology course. I received my School of Natural Health Sciences diploma today, it makes me feel so proud what I have achieved, I never thought I could do it. I am now well into the Reflexology course, and have picked out other courses I would like to do next. Thank you for the opportunity to study these courses at home, in my own time, fitting it around work and family, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Janine Seddon Surrey, England Having not studied for over 20 years, I was really worried that I would have lost the knack. The Anatomy & Physiology course was really very interesting and the more I looked back over each module, the more I could see how they all linked together, and this is from someone who didn’t study Biology at school past age 12! I’m sure it will be invaluable to the other subjects I have lined up to do with the School of Natural Health Sciences next, and will give people confidence that I at least have some idea how the body works. I look forward to Aromatherapy next – yippee!!!

A visual approach and modular organization. NEW! More in-depth physiology presentations in select two-page modules give students a better understanding of tough physiology topics. All Section Openers have been converted to modules so that their content is linked by number to Learning Outcomes and supported by new Module Reviews. The Visual Approach breaks out of the text-heavy model of other two-semester A&P books. Instead of long columns of narrative text that refer to visuals, this book integrates visuals with the text.
Students can’t read without seeing the corresponding visual, and they can’t look at a visual without reading. This book has true text-art integration, which encourages reading and enhances understanding. The Modular Organization presents each chapter in two-page module spreads. The top left page begins with the module number and module title, the bottom right page ends with a set of self-check Module Review questions, and the text-art presentation fills the rest of the spread. These two-page spreads give students a predictable learning path and an efficient organization method for managing their time. Everything they need is contained within these spreads, which means no page flipping to find relevant figures.
Within each chapter, related modules are organized into sections that conclude with a Section Review. Clinical Material is given the same prominent attention in two-page modules as other chapter modules, rather than in the “sidebars” of other two-semester A&P books. Frequent practice. NEW! End-of-Chapter study and practice material includes a new narrative Study Outline and new comprehensive Chapter Review Questions (labeling, matching, true/false, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and short answer) to help students learn and integrate the chapter content. Module Reviews wrap up each two-page module with brief questions that check the students’ understanding of facts and concepts. Section Reviews complete each set of modules and include a wide variety of “workbook-style” review activities—such as labeling and concept mapping—that ask students to recall and demonstrate their understanding of facts and concepts across several modules.
Chapter Reviews include a new Study Outline that gives a narrative summary of the chapter content; new traditional Chapter Review Questions that include a combination of labeling, matching, true/false, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and short answer; and a Chapter Integration section that presents clinical applications of the chapter material in a friendly, story format followed by critical thinking questions. Plus the MasteringA&P reference box in the Chapter Review section of every chapter shows students which MasteringA&P resources can help them review key chapter material on their own. Learning outcomes that tightly coordinate with teaching points. Daewoo lanos 2018 repair guide. NEW!
The repetition of the chapter-opening Learning Outcomes on the module spreads drives home the connection between the HAPS-based Learning Outcomes and the associated teaching points. Author Judi Nath sat on the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS) committee that developed the HAPS Learning Outcomes, which are now recommended to A&P instructors.
Additionally, the assessments in MasteringA&P are organized by these Learning Outcomes. Full-sentence module titles do more than introduce new topics–they state the core fact or concept that will be presented in the module.
These module titles are directly correlated, by number, to the Learning Outcomes on the chapter-opening page that are reprinted at the end of the module, thus making it easy for students to “see,” navigate through, and learn the chapter content.
